Buttermilk Pie (Aunt Marlene)

1/2 c buttermilk
1-3/4 c sugar
2 large eggs
3 TBS flour
pinch salt
1 stick butter
1 tsp vanilla
nutmeg
pie shell

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Mix everything (except nutmeg) together and pour into 9" unbaked pie shell.
Sprinkle top lightly with nutmeg.
Bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven to 350 degrees and bake another 45 minutes.
Cool to allow filling to set.
