Granny Cake (Wanda P.)














1-1/2 c sugar
2 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple (including juice)
1 c brown sugar
1 c chopped pecans

1 c evaporated milk
1/2 c sugar
1 stick butter
1 tsp vanilla

Mix sugar, flour, salt, soda, eggs and pineapple together.
pour into 9x13 pan.
Sprinkle top with brown sugar and chopped pecans.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

Cook milk, sugar, butter and vanilla until it comes to a rolling boil.

After cake has baked and is right out of the oven, pour cooked milk mixture over entire cake.
