Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownies



















1 box red velvet cake mix
1 TBS lemon juice
1/3 c milk
3/4 c butter
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 c sugar
1 egg

Frosting:
1 jar vanilla frosting & 8 oz cream cheese OR
1 jar cream cheese frosting OR
homemade cream cheese frosting

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease bottom only of 9x13 pan.
Add lemon juice to milk and set aside. (Milk will thicken.)
With mixer, combine cake mix, butter and sour milk mixture. Will create thick dough.
Put half of dough into pan and press to cover bottom. (Coat hands with butter.)
Bake 8 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine cream cheese, sugar and egg. Mix until combined.
Remove brownies from oven and pour cream cheese mixture over top.
For remaining half of dough, roll it between 2 sheets of parchment paper to approximate size of pan.
Use a spatula to pick up pieces of dough and cover top of cream cheese.
Bake 22 more minutes.
Remove and cool completely.
Make frosting and spread on brownies.
