Peanut Butter Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting :-)
2-1/4 c all-purpose flour
2 c light brown sugar, packed
1 c peanut butter
1/2 c butter
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1-1/4 c milk
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 c peanut butter
2 TBS honey
1 tsp vanilla
2 c powered sugar
4-to-5 TBS milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease and flour long cake pan.
In large bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, peanut butter and butter with mixer.
Blend until crumbly.
Add rest of cake ingredients and blend at low speed until wet. Then beat at medium speed for 3 minutes.
Pour into prepared pan and bake for 35-to-40 minutes.
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, ten spread frosting on hot cake.
Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top.
Warm peanut butter and honey in microwave until soft and easy to stir.
Add everything else and beat until smooth.
(You can double the frosting.)
