1/2 c butter-flavored Crisco
2/3 c light brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 c all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1-1/2 c rolled oats
3/4 c raisins
1/2 c chopped nuts
In large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, egg and vanilla until smooth.
In separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
Stir into butter/sugar mixture.
Stir in oats, raisins and nuts.
Chill in refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Scoop cookies with teaspoon and place on parchment-lined cookie sheet.
(Cookies won't grow much.)
Bake about 10 minutes.
Cool 5 minutes before taking off cookie sheet.
