Banana Bread (Cracker Barrel)

1 stick butter, softened
1 1/2 c sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 1/2 c all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
4 very ripe bananas, mashed

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cream butter and sugar in large bowl.
Add eggs and mix well.
Add flour, salt and baking soda and mix well.
Stir in vanilla and bananas.
Spoon batter into loaf pan lined with parchment paper.
Place in oven and reduce heat to 325 degrees.
Bake for 1 hour.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes and remove.
