Everything's Peachy Bread

6 fresh peaches, peeled and pitted
6 TBS plus 1 1/2 c sugar, divided
1 stick butter, melted
2 eggs
2 c all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 c chopped pecans
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Puree peaches in blender.
Mix 1 1/2 c of puree with 7 TSP sugar.
In large bowl, cream 1 1/2 c sugar with butter.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add peach mixture, flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon and stir gently.
Stir in pecans and vanilla.
Pour batter into 2 greased loaf pans.
Bake 55 to 60 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes and remove.
