Cowboy Cornbread (Aunt Marlene)

 













2 lbs hamburger
2 cans Rotel tomatoes (drained)
1 can Ranch style beans
2 pkg cornbread mix
1 can cream-style corn
shredded cheese (your choice)

Brown hamburger and drain. Add tomatoes and beans. Simmer 10 minutes.
Mix cornbread mix as directed. Add corn and cheese to cornbread.
Pour half of cornbread mix in bottom of pain.
Pour meat mixture on top. Add some more cheese.
Pour remaining cornbread mix on top.
Bake at 350 until done (guessing about 30 minutes?).

NOTE:  Don't like Jiffy. Planning to make regular cornbread in cast iron skillet instead.
